When spot color artwork is sent to our plant, all native colors are aliased or tinted to their corresponding BCT Swatches. This allows us to easily process and group multiple orders, providing you with the turnaround time you expect from us.
To aid us in processing your artwork, we now offer you the option of downloading our swatches to use in your Adobe products. The swatch file itself is an Adobe Illustrator 8 file, which allows for full compatibility with Adobe InDesign 2 up to CS3, as well as Adobe Illustrator 8 up to CS3.

First, use your preferred decompression software to unzip bctswatches.zip. Then, navigate to the program's folder on your computer (ie. C:\Program Files\Adobe\... in a Windows-based system), and find the appropriate sub-folder:
- Illustrator: Presets\Swatches
- InDesign 2.0: Swatch Libraries
- InDesign CS: Presets\Swatch Libraries
Simply place the BCT Swatches.ai file that you unzipped into that folder.
Then, when you create a new color for your document, just choose the desired color from the BCT SWATCHES palette (see example below).
